Description
If you are looking for an experience that will blow your mind, head to the Addo Elephant National Park near Port Elizabet, South Africa. Here you can drive your own vehicle through the park on hard-pack trails and observe the animals close up. I was both in awe and intimidated by this herd of elephants our group came across. We watched them for quite a while being sure not spook them. The matriarch of the group kept a close eye on our car making sure the baby elephant among them never got too close. As it was, I was only about 6 feet away from these beautiful animals shooting through my car window. I could have watched them for hours. Wow!
